Ignite Students Ministry

Ignite Student Ministries is the student ministry at Holly Spring Baptist Church in Franklin, NC. For students in Grades 5th-12th, we offer Large Group and Small Group activities that help students grow in a closer relationship with God and each other. It is our desire that students own their faith by the time they leave the Ignite Student Ministry. This is accomplished by providing opportunities for them to grow and for them to put their faith in action. Click here to view our Ignite Student Ministry Brochure. Middle School and High School students gather to connect with God

This is a high energy mix of fun games, worship, and Large Group teaching. XP3 Curriculum helps students to see God for who He is, to see themselves the way God sees them, and to love others the way He loves us. When topics need to be age appropriate, Middle School and High School will meet in separate areas.

We also have an array of games (foosball, ping pong, air hockey, Xbox, PS3, Wii) to play or just hang out in the couch area with friends.

Service Projects

“And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.” Mark 16:15

Ignite Students gather together one Saturday every quarter to serve others. Service Projects include serving at local charities, meeting the needs of our Homebound Seniors, and more. Students are encouraged to get their hands and feet dirty as they express God’s love for others.

Camps/Mission Trips

A week of camp is full of mega moments for students. Every summer, Ignite students have the opportunity to attend camp. Sometimes camp will be here in NC and other times we may attend a camp within reasonable driving distance in TN, GA, or SC. When students are in a new environment, they're free to experience their faith in a fresh way. Games, Food, Worship, Bible Study, and more.

The goal of a mission trip is to move students outside of their comfort zones by serving the local, state, country, and international communities with projects like helping at Kids' Camps, Food Banks, Urban Gardening, Serving the Elderly, and more. The goal is to provide Ignite Students with a Mission Trip opportunity every summer. By the time a student leaves Ignite, it is our desire for them to have experienced a local, country, and International Mission Trip.

At Holly Springs we know Camp and Mission Trips can get expensive, especially if you have more than one student at a time in Ignite. We offer many opportunities to raise funds to help bring down those costs. Be on the look out for opportunities for both you and your student(s) to get involved in fundraising opportunities.
